Lost Vines are vineyards that are not being used to their full potential; esoteric grape varietals that have fallen out of fashion in favor of more mainstream cultivars (Cabernet, Pinot, and Chardonnay).  These lost vines have often matured over decades and have been used for blending.  Through the majesty of nature, these lost vines have never forgotten their unique individual character. 

Craft wines made from an esoteric single varietal, single vineyard, single vintage and with minimal intervention from the winemaker.  Lost Vines’ wines are expressing the true potential of terroir and the grape’s natural integrity without over-ripeness, over-extraction, over-oaking or any other modern winemaking practices.  The wines rest in vessels of stainless steel, concrete, or inert-barrels, bottled with the absolute minimum sulfur necessary for stabilization.  Farming practices in the vineyard range from sustainable to fully organic/biodynamic without compromise.
